Our Santiago office has an opportunity for a
**Sustainable Procurement Specialist **to join the team as a remote Work Share employee, following several significant project wins.
As an integral member of the team, this senior role will see you joining a team of passionate professionals, supporting a wide range of multidisciplinary projects.

**Specific responsibilities will include**:

- Engage and influence our top spend vendors with respect to sustainable procurement programs and high-risk vendors.
- Initiate and renew framework agreements with vendors, negotiate terms and provisions.
- Engage with vendors to help provide awareness and education regarding sustainability.
- Assist in developing a supplier diversity program.
- Measure and monitor vendor performance and compliance with agreements, contracts, with respect to sustainability criteria, and provide feedback to team on gaps, opportunities, etc.
- Provide input to Vendor Relationship Module (VRM) and assist with developing requirements needed to for sustainable procurement for efficiency, and vendor and user experience e.g., reporting, automation, etc.
- Establish and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships with internal and external partners from a sustainable procurement perspective.
- Ad hoc reporting based on Procurement needs e.g., vendor segmentation, vendor spend analysis & opportunities.
- Provide sustainable procurement support to Vendor Prequalification and Operations.
- Look for continuous improvement opportunities for systems, tools, processes, and procedures for Sustainable Procurement.
- Other duties and ad hoc reporting as required.

**Successful skills & qualifications**:

- 2+ years of vendor management experience.
- Passion and knowledge about Sustainability, ESG, UN SDGs.
- High proficiency with data management and analysis tools such as SQL, Power BI, Excel (intermediate).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, Power BI, OneNote, etc.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and rapport building.
- Ability and willingness to quickly learn new skills, tools, and systems.
- Critical thinking and independent problem resolution skills.
- Ability to prioritize workload to meet deadlines for short and long-term goals with competing timelines.
- Bilingual in English and French is considered an asset.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred in one of the following areas: Supply Chain, Commerce, Finance.
