**Job Description Summary**: The Collection Specialist is responsible for the collection of past due receivables, disputes process and reconciliation of portfolio within established deadlines under the direction of the team leader.

**Main Activities and Responsabilities**
- Analize customer accounts and collect on all outstanding receivables on assigned accounts.
- Ensure assigned portfolio is reconciled, generates and send customer statements and include invoices and credit notes when is necessary.
- Ensure that all the worked transactions are properly codede and updated on ERP.
- Identify, research, analyze and resolve unworked customer deductions to address the discrepancies with our customers and stakeholders.
- Identify and research overpayments and unaplied cash on customers accounts and work with our the cash applcation team in order to reconcile and have the payments properly applied.

**Academic training and previous experience (language, computer tools)**

**REQUIRED**
- From 1 year experience or more in accounts receivable, customer services, finance.
- Familiarity with ERP systems.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office. MS Excel Intermediate level
- Advanced English speaking and writing.
- Advanced French speaking and writing.

**PREFERRED**
- Experience in accounts receivable, customer services, finance or accounting.
- Experience working with ERP systems such as JDE, SAP or others ERP systems.
- Experience working in regional shared service center.
- Accounting or Financial degreed or equivalent.
