Junior Engineer

We are seeking a **Junior Engineer (Air Emissions) **to support our Air, GHG and Noise Team, based in the Americas.
- Working with intermediate and senior staff in all aspects of project work including documentation review. Greenhouse gas emission calculations and reporting.
- Data compilation interpretation and evaluation against relevant regulations.
- Assist with air emission calculations.
- Preparation of portions of technical reports.
- Review, understand and interpret Canadian and US acts and regulations.
- Work with GHD’s Air & Noise Group, consisting of over 80 engineers and scientists across North America.
- Support where required on future energy and sustainability projects including biogas, hydrogen conversion, CCUS, ESG.

**Skills, Competencies and Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Industrial Process Engineering or other relevant engineering.
- Understanding of chemical process, unit operations, heat and mass balance.
- Managing multiple tasks while maintaining a high degree of attention to detail in a consulting environment.
- Must be flexible with project types and responsibilities.
- Excellent attention to detail along with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to complete work under tight deadlines when required.
- Written and verbal communication skills in English are essential to this position.
