This Position reports to:
Product Specialist

**Your role and responsibilities**:
In this role, you will have the opportunity to create and complete bids/estimations/quotations for **Packaging / Integrated Solutions (MV drives + motors + E-house + auxiliaries)** based on customer specifications, requirements, and budgets across **LATAM**. Each day, you will balance inputs and collaboration across ABB units and stakeholders to ensure competitive, compliant, and profitable proposals. You will also showcase your expertise by formulating high-quality bids with the best technical and commercial solution mix, ensuring timely, well-documented proposals with full and accurate cost breakdowns and clear assumptions.

**The work model for the role is: Hybrid**

This role is contributing to **ABB Motion High Power - Packaging Solutions** in **LATAM**. Main stakeholders are **Sales & Segment Managers, Sales Support Lead (Packaging), Global/Regional Sales Specialists, Engineering & Project Management, Supply Chain, Finance, Legal, Business Risk, Factory interfaces, and customers**.

You will be mainly accountable for:

- Calculating budgetary values for sales teams or customers to assess willingness to invest, using the appropriate level of detail.
- Managing the preparation of technical and commercial documentation (e.g., defining suitable technology and product types), financial documentation (e.g., price sheets, cash flow analysis), and when needed project-related estimates (e.g., engineering/commissioning hours), including prices and trading conditions.
- Collaborating with sales teams and engaging with customers when required to clarify requirements, gather inputs, and support technical/commercial alignment.
- Ensuring that, according to bid/estimate/quotation planning, all inputs for editing activities are provided on time and follow established quality procedures.
- Coordinating proposal inputs end-to-end across countries and stakeholders, ensuring scope clarity, interfaces, and assumptions are documented and aligned.
- Supporting risk identification in bids and contract terms; engaging with Legal/Business Risk/Trade Compliance as required and contributing to Risk Review governance.
- Collecting, archiving, and maintaining bid documentation; reporting bid status in defined tools and supporting win/loss analysis to improve competitiveness.
- Managing external suppliers, contractors and services that support bid preparation when needed, ensuring quality and lead time compliance.

**Qualifications for the role**:

- **3+ years of experience** in bid & proposal, tendering, estimations, or sales support for industrial projects/solutions (preferably multi-country or multi-stakeholder environments).
- Demonstrated ability to build **end-to-end proposals** with accurate costing, clear assumptions, strong documentation, and disciplined planning (tender-to-offer).
- Solid exposure to **integrated solutions / packaged systems** **(MV drives + motors + E-house + auxiliaries)**, coordinating technical, commercial, and cost inputs across functions.
- Strong skills in **pricing, commercial terms awareness, and basic contract/risk understanding**, engaging with Finance and Legal when required.
- Highly adept in MS Office and bid/CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce or similar); comfortable reporting bid status and supporting win/loss insights.
- Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills; able to interface with Sales, Engineering, Supply Chain, and factories under time pressure.
- You are at ease communicating in **Spanish and English** (spoken and written) in a multinational/regional environment.
