**About the right team member**:
The Localization Associate will support the translations for product releases, web updates, customer communications, and other cross-functional efforts. This team member will be part of our Conversion Rate Optimization team, aiming to continuously improve our web and app experience.

**About the role**:

- Conduct quality assurance checks
- Maintain translation memories, terminology databases, and other linguistic assets
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of localization projects
- Liaise with external translation vendors and internal stakeholders to coordinate project timelines and deliverables
- Assist in troubleshooting localization issues and providing solutions to optimize the localization process

**Skills & experience**:

- Experience in a localization coordinator or project manager role
- Experience with Smartling or a similar CAT tool or Translation Management System (TMS)
- Familiarity with Translation Memory (TM) and terminology management
- Knowledge of Machine Translation (MT) tools and best practices in quality management
- Degree in translation, localization, or a related field
- Proficiency in English and another language
- Familiarity with a Content Management System (CMS) is a plus
- Proficiency in German or Japanese is a plus
