Web Content Specialist

- Manage the day-to-day operations of GHD’s websites using Sitecore CMS to create pages, build/edit content and graphics while adhering to brand guidelines, web accessibility requirements and SEO best practices.
- Build and execute campaigns (using Salesforce Cloud technologies) that deliver against specific business goals and campaign objectives
- Take ownership for content quality and accuracy sitewide.
- Manage and support various stages in the content management lifecycle including editing, coordination of translations, stakeholder approvals, publishing content to the live website and ongoing maintenance in Sitecore CMS.
- Support website optimization strategies that improve user experience and demand generation, using A/B and user testing, personalization, and CRO strategies and initiatives.
- Collaborate directly with functional content owners to ensure web content is current, relevant, compelling, and consistent.
- Facilitate web requests through development of site architecture, user flows, wireframes, mock-ups and/or working prototypes if and when necessary.
- Complete routine quality assurance checks to ensure core web functionality is functioning as expected (ie, load time, forms, dropdown menus, mobile responsiveness, etc.).
- Proactively conduct content audits to eliminate outdated, redundant and/or duplicate information on the website to enhance the user experience
- Coordinate maintenance and development of web templates with web development team.
- Provide guidance and support to other web publishers, troubleshoot website issues and coordinate escalation with the web development/IS as required.
- Maintains website governance process to support overall digital strategy and development processes.
- Provide monthly reporting, post-campaign analyses and equip business teams and internal stakeholders with data-driven insights on the website to make fact-based decisions while driving improvement and client insights
- Help inform and support GHD’s digital content strategy by taking an active role in identifying improvements, recommending strategic content placement, and delivering a cohesive and compelling experience for website visitors.

**Skills, Competencies and Qualifications**:

- Fluent in English.
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 3+ years experience in web development/ content management role
- Knowledge of responsive design, and web accessibility standards - AODA/WCAG
- Experience using Sitecore CMS or similar CMS platforms for managing web content
- Proficient in modern approaches to web design, content, and functionalities
- Good understanding of UX and web engagement strategies
- Experience planning, designing, developing, and testing website pages
- Knowledge of web programming languages including HTML and CSS
- Project management experience and the ability to manage multiple deadlines
- Collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal skills and ability to effectively manage internal and external relationships
- Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop is considered an asset
