Manager, UX and CX Research

Robert Half is seeking a Manager of UX and CX Research to be a part of the Design Center of Excellence team. This team is responsible for providing broad market views and deep user insights that help shape business strategy for teams like marketing, advertising, brand, product management, employee experience, and other enterprise functions.

In this role, you will manage a team of User Researchers and [Customer Researchers]. You will collaborate directly with stakeholders and cross-functional teams on multiple projects to deliver meaningful insights that shape the future of our products and services.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage marketing research programs, including brand health, creative campaign pre-testing, advertising effectiveness studies, voice of the customer surveys, as well as ad-hoc custom qualitative and quantitative studies.
- Manage product, colleague and enterprise research programs, where you will plan and conduct a wide range of research projects end-to-end to uncover deep, high quality insights that contribute to our foundational understanding of our customers (current and future) and their experience.
- Responsible for all phases of the research process including needs identification, project management, survey/discussion guide design, interview facilitation, data analysis, synthesis, and storytelling/presentation with clear objectives and actionable insights.
- Understand and balance user, business and technology value and constraints when designing research plans and presenting your findings.
- Work in partnership with leaders from other teams to identify research opportunities and deliver insights that lead to demonstrable business value and growth in measurable KPIs/OKRs.
- Manage the research team’s operations including intake, scheduling, team capacity management, prioritization, insights tracking, process playbooks, and more.
- A servant leader who is motivated to build a culture and community by providing the structure, care, mentorship, and development that the team needs to flourish.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum 8+ years relevant experience in a related field of research (e.g. user research, market research, business analytics, strategic planning, new product development).
- Analytical skills and the ability to communicate insights gleaned from generative and evaluative research data in a manner that generates actionable changes for the business.
- Critical thinker, able to sort through complex business issues and simplifying it, able to think out of the box and question status quo.
- Fluency in the use of tools and techniques in qualitative and quantitative design research.
- Fluency in Design Thinking and human-centered design, with strategic experience in persona development, journey and experience mapping.
- Demonstrated strong work ethic, highly motivated self-starter, and intellectual curiosity.
- Bring a positive, solution-centric and growth mindset.
- High attention to detail and accuracy is a must.
- Continuous learner, remaining open to feedback and adapting quickly and positively to changes
