Our Operations teams work from executional excellence to building excellence. The goal is not only to deliver on our plan and OKR targets, but also to work under the hood on building an extraordinary Ops machine to provide the best customer experience and generate a long-term source of competitive advantage.
We are the local eyes on Uber’s operations team, we own operational metrics related to the restaurant's performance, becoming the bridge between the business strategy in terms of having a magnificent operation between restaurants, eaters, and couriers with the different lines of business and internal teams.
**About the Role**:
In this role, you will understand and seize the opportunities in our current products and processes, working together with central and cross-functional teams to lead on implementation.
Monitoring constantly the market performance and operational metrics that will allow us to identify and unlock existing roadblocks that are negatively impacting the market, you will work closely with our core territories teams to enable growth and boost business impact.
We are looking for an individual who has strong operational and analytical skills, as well as strategic business sense and stakeholder management. This is a key position that can have a big impact on business and operations, positioning the UberEats app as the first thought when people want to order food or groceries.

**What You’ll Do**:
- Problem Solving: Identify the root cause of risks and opportunities, propose multiple, actionable solutions, and weigh tradeoffs to recommend the best approach
- Process Optimization: Complete, optimize, and scale core analyses and processes across LatAm and beyond, regularly reviewing performance
- Monitor important metrics and build initiatives to sustainably improve them with ambitious targets
- Collaborate with our commercial teams in order to understand their struggles and possible improvements. Operational excellence is our core

**What You’ll Need**:
- +2 years of proven professional experience
- Data-Driven Mentality: Make strategic decisions based on data analysis and interpretation. Experience getting in the weeds of data, balanced with the ability to see the big picture. Critical thinking and analytical rigor, as you will be dealing with data (reports, experiments) and scaling processes and products
- Great Spanish and English proficiency
- Demonstrated experience interpreting and presenting data to various audiences in an engaging and comprehensive, yet succinct manner
- Teamwork: Demonstrate optimism, respect others, and work well in a team. Ability to work with people from a diverse set of backgrounds and responsibilities. Maintains healthy working relationships, even in disagreement
- Executional Excellence: Ability to efficiently handle and prioritize complex operations that require the support of peers and other teams, and deliver results in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment, while maintaining high-quality work standards
- Planning & Organization: Ability to plan sophisticated or multi-faceted projects with cross-functional teams, defining timelines, deliverables, interdependencies, and resource allocation
- Strong SQL and Excel skills - other database experience will be considered as a plus
