_**Remote Collections Specialist (LatAm-based)**_

We proudly support clients across the public and private sectors in the U.S. and internationally, covering more than 200 languages.

**Job Summary**
The Collections Specialist supports billing and collections operations to ensure efficient and timely invoicing, payment processing, and collection activities. This role helps maintain smooth financial transactions, minimize outstanding credit, and negotiate payment solutions under the guidance of senior team members. The Collections Specialist plays an important role in maintaining compliance and positive customer relationships while working in a fast-paced, multilingual environment. Familiarity with the language services industry is highly valued.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Assist with accurate and timely invoicing of customers
- Support strategies to improve the collection of outstanding credit
- Ensure compliance with company policies and state/federal regulations regarding debt recovery
- Track deadlines for invoicing and payment collection
- Communicate with customers to resolve payment issues and secure payment commitments
- Help prepare monthly reports on payment collections and outstanding accounts
- Stay informed on legislative and procedural updates related to debt collection

**Qualifications and Skills**
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field (preferred)
- 1-2 years of experience in collections or a related financial role (semi-junior level)
- Familiarity with the language services or interpreting industry (preferred)
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks Online, General Ledger) and strong MS Excel skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Good analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines with supervision
- Strong time management and organizational abilities
- Native-level Spanish and C1-level English, both written and oral

**Schedule**
Full-time: Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Pacific Time, USA
This is a fully remote position.
