A/R Processor

SAN RAMONRobert Half is seeking an A/R Processor to join the Accounts Receivable family. The family ensures accuracy of A/R balances through the timely reconciliation and processing of more complex electronic payments, write-offs, A/R adjustments, customer refunds, and intercompany transactions. Key responsibilities include the timely and accurate preparation and reconciliation of non-standard remittances and electronic funds transfer (i.e. EFTs), research and resolution of On-Account payments and customer refunds, processing of A/R offsets/ adjustments and write-offs, reporting of inter-company transactions, responding to payment inquiries, and preparing reports while adhering to departmental controls. Further, these positions are collectively responsible for onboarding new third party or client/vendor managed systems in the area of remittance/payable processing, and performing special projects related to these areas.
Specific responsibilities include:

- Audit appropriate signature approval, reason codes and dollar amounts.
- Balance and process accounts receivable adjustments and offsets.
- Create, print, match and file worksheets.
- Support AR Analyst research by pulling supporting documents.
- Process transactions related to refunds and offsets of Accounts Receivable balances.
- Audit appropriate signature approval and dollar amounts.
- Run queries and processes (including printing and filing) adjustments and offsets for intercompany transactions.
- Ensure transactions are compliant with all RH policies and internal controls including Sarbanes Oxley.
- Maintain effective relationships with other internal departments in Corporate Services Staffing.
- Participate and support various project, as requested.

Qualifications:

- High School diploma or equivalent experience.
- Previous clerical and data entry experience in a high transaction volume environment preferred.
- Basic input ability with Access. Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, Outlook, SharePoint, and 10-key.
- Basic experience with ERP systems, preferably PeopleSoft.
