**Job Title**: Accounting Manager

**Location**: Remote (Santiago, Chile-based)

**Industry**:Parcel Delivery & Logistics

**Responsibilities**:

- Lead and manage the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, ensuring all journal entries, reconciliations, and adjustments are completed accurately and on schedule.
- Oversee general ledger accounting, including account reconciliations, accruals, deferrals, and variance analysis.
- Review and ensure accuracy of financial statements in compliance with GAAP.
- Manage intercompany transactions and reconciliations.
- Supervise and mentor accounting AR/AP team members, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
- Maintain and optimize NetSuite for accounting and reporting purposes, ensuring data integrity and leveraging system capabilities for process improvements.
- Prepare audit schedules and liaise with internal and external auditors.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and regulatory requirements.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred.
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP; IFRS exposure a plus.
- Proven experience managing month-end close and preparing consolidated financial statements.
- Proficiency in NetSuite required; experience with other ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards) is a plus.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, complex formulas).
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Experience in the logistics industry.

**Pay Rate**: Monthly rate of USD $2,800 - $3,500 (based on experience and qualifications)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $2,666,666 - $3,333,333 per month
