**Descripción del empleo**
As an Area Manager, what you do:
You are responsible for achieving sales goals in your area by establishing a plan to deliver a great customer experience in line with the country. You ensure you have great teams and support their development. You work with succession planning, talent and leadership development, and structured performance management for your area team and store managers based on results, values, and leadership. You work in accordance with legal requirements and H&M standards, policies, and procedures to meet the expectations of customers and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:
You regularly analyze and monitor your Area's revenue and profit KPIs and take appropriate action to maximize results.
- You are responsible for achieving sales and profit goals in your area by establishing a plan to deliver a great customer experience in line with the country.
- You establish a schedule in line with the sales budget, together with your Area Controller.
- Together with the area team, you prioritize actions that have a clear impact on sales.
- You implement and monitor store operations best practices, in accordance with the country plan, together with the area team.
- You track store performance using the customer experience tool, ensuring that H&M standards are consistently met.
- You ensure that H&M customer service standards are delivered in all stores in your area.
- You ensure that maintenance in your stores is managed cost-effectively and meets H&M standards, initiating actions accordingly.
- You actively prevent shrink together with store management and the area team and ensure that all stores follow appropriate guidelines.
- You have an overview of the competitive landscape, potential risks, threats, and opportunities, and, together with the relevant Support Office functions, take appropriate action.
- You oversee and manage the recruitment, training, development, and succession planning of stores and the area team in accordance with your country's human resources strategy and objectives.
- You monitor, evaluate, and manage the performance of store managers and area team members. You execute dialogues, development plans, feedback, and follow-ups, and take appropriate action.
- You actively work with talent and leadership development within the area team and store managers to support business needs.

You collaborate with the Support Office functions and ensure regular and clear communication with the area team and Store Managers regarding business performance, the company's culture and values, and country and area objectives. You ensure that health and safety, legal, and security issues are handled according to H&M standards and local laws, ensuring the safety of employees and customers at all times. You strengthen our company culture by promoting feedback in our daily work through leadership and remote coaching.

What you need for this role:

- Previous work experience as a Store Manager or Area/Retail Operations Manager for fashion and liftstyle brands.
- Studies and/or knowledge of commercial analysis and strategies.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Experience working in a team, leading diverse people, developing talents, and consistently inspiring.
- Strong ability to analyze sales, P&L, commercial results, KPIs, etc.
- Constant ability to balance strategic planning with daily execution.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Able to work flexibly, determining key priorities.
- Spoken and written English
