About the job:
The Red Hat Marketing team is looking for a talented Junior Marketing Analyst to join us in Santiago, Chile. In this role, you will support our marketing intelligence activities in the South of Latin America (SOLA) West region (Chile and Peru). During this internship, you will be focused on the lead management process, tracking sales opportunities and leads that relate to marketing activities as well as on marketing budget control. You’ll need to have excellent written and verbal communication skills because you will create and distribute program updates, product enhancements, marketing programs, and sales tools at the same time you will do budgetary follow-up with each business team. This is an exciting opportunity to begin your career while working with a fast-paced open source company.

What you will do:

- Assist in the measurement of surveys, generation of performance reports, and evaluation of campaigns and activities
- Capture and analyze data (lead, budget, single-year bookings, and related) to make recommendations based on this data which will help promote business success
- Coordinate with the Finance team on weekly and quarterly reporting and budgeting
- Create and manage a business metrics dashboard
- Create and distribute rollout communications for program updates, product enhancements, and direct marketing programs
- Collaborate with database maintenance
- Assist in marketing research
- Carefully monitor communications response data and other performance and marketing metrics
- Establish and maintain a centralized archive of presentations, marketing materials, and communications that will be accessible to various functional teams internally
- Perform marketing budget control and administrative tasks in relation to central suppliers (budgetary control, purchase orders, receipts of invoices, registration of suppliers, etc.)
- Be responsible for taxonomy with business teams and return on marketing investment (ROMI) analysis
- Follow up with subregion budgetary control on tools

What you will bring:

- Second or third-year student in business administration, finance, accountancy, or industrial engineering
- Solid communication skills that allow you to create exceptional relationships
- Energetic and result-oriented, but also flexible enough with work responsibilities as needs change
