Robert Half is seeking a Manager, Social Media Communications to lead the social media team in generating positive brand exposure for the company through a comprehensive social media strategy. The individual in this role should have strong leadership skills and command of best practices and trends in social media communications, and be fluent in all key areas of managing a social portfolio for a brand. This role reports to the Director, Social Media.

Specific responsibilities include:

- Manage a team of social media specialists in ongoing growth and development, and in implementing the function’s strategic direction.
- Develop and oversee the execution of an audience-focused, thumb-stopping social content strategy that supports company objectives, including campaigns, evergreen content, key holidays and observances, events, thought leadership, and more.
- Cultivate and grow social communities in a manner consistent with the company’s brand and values.
- Lead the development of a robust social analytics and reporting program, to measure success, analyze results, identify trends, and report and execute on key findings to achieve social media objectives and inform continuous content improvement.
- Define and lead a social listening program, to monitor for reputational risk, emerging crises, competitive intel, campaign research, and more.
- Deploy a test-and-learn approach to new platforms, content formats, engagement strategies, and other emerging social media elements.
- Lead the company strategy and execution of our employee advocacy program.
- Collaborate with the Public Relations, Inclusion and Diversity, Digital Marketing, Media Services, North American Marketing, Business Communications, Community Relations, Corporate Communications, Customer Experience and International Zone Social Media teams to ensure the best results for the company.

Qualifications:

- BA/BS degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English or a related field
- 7+ years of experience managing social media programs for a large brand; 1+ year of people-management experience preferred
- Proficiency in third-party social media enterprise tools such as Hootsuite, Sprinklr, Emplifi, or Khoros, as well as employee advocacy and social listening tools.
- Excellent communicator and agile thinker, who can easily toggle between process and creative tasks, using both data and intuition to inform decisions
- A storyteller with an exceptional ability to think strategically and creatively, staying on brand with tone and voice
- Experience developing ambassador programs and community-building efforts using social media
- A highly collaborative person with exceptional interpersonal skills
