**Job title**: Textbook Content Developer
Wolfram, creator of Mathematica, Wolfram|Alpha and Wolfram Language, is seeking a highly motivated temporary Textbook Content Developer to join the Algorithms R&D department. The Textbook Content Developer will transform technical concepts into content for our upcoming books.
**Responsibilities**
- Creating and reviewing content, examples and solutions for our upcoming books
- Creating visual content in the form of images and animations to complement the text
- Creating slideshows and videos corresponding to book chapters to be packaged as a course
**Qualifications**
- Proficiency in English, with excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering field: mechanical, electrical, industrial and the like are the best matches
- Familiarity with image and signal processing concepts
- Ability to prioritize tasks and take initiative
- Strong organizational and analytic skills
**Preferred qualifications**
- Experience in teaching, teaching assistance and textbook writing
- Experience with a programming language, specifically Wolfram Language
**Job type**: Part time or Full time (20-40 hours per week)/Independent Contractor
**Reporting to**: Senior Kernel Developer
