**Job Description**:
The Big Projects Pursuit Leader sells the organization’s products or services and maintains relationships with existing or potential longer sales cycle accounts. Typical primary responsibilities include expanding and developing an account and providing customer service, rather than acquiring new accounts. May be a team leader and provide professional leadership and coordination for team on an account. Significantly higher average quota and/or territory. Accounts are key, highly strategic, and have complex requirements. Responsible for significant key partner relationship management and development. Responsible for the master strategy for strategic accounts and ensures the strategy is executed.

**Key Areas of Focus**:

- Big projects identification as well as the eco-system related to them.
- Solution level pursuit for integrated portfolio (control, information, process, power).
- Delivers outcome-based, value messaging integrated solutions.
- Provides guidance to sales team on best path to success maximizing RA content.
- Increases customer confidence in RA solutions and capabilities.

**Role and Responsibilities**:

- Identify big projects (+1M) and coordinate globally to make sure appropriate influence is gained with both the end user and the eco-system.
- Secure delivering the customer with a complete solution with a high value-added message around the integrated portfolio, involving Rockwell and eventually 3rd party products.
- Influence on a consultive manner large end-users, EPCs, SIs and engineering companies on the project specification phase, to drive technical specifications good for Rockwell Automation & partners promoted solutions in line with customer goals.
- Capable of articulating competitive advantages of products and solutions proposed to customers with the goal of winning technical preference in the negotiation stage, evaluate competitive strengths and weaknesses as well as recommend strategies to neutralize them during customer decision process.
- Support the Win Strategy and opportunity qualification cycle by participating on decision making (Go-No Go process) and execution of specific actions to increase the confidence of success in each opportunity.
- Analyze widely the scope of products & services for each opportunity and recommend the best strategy for closing, considering the different market access options in coordination with BUs and sales.
- Support power & process regional leaders with strategy development for complex projects supporting regional BSR, industry segments and commercial partners, with technical and commercial enablement.
- Understand the entire project lifecycle and stages, the interrelation among critical dependencies and activities.

**Basic Qualifications**
- Engineer degree or equivalent experience.
- Experience on commercial areas with big projects (+1M).
- 5 -10 years experience in Sales and technical skills.
- 5 years of experience in one or more of these industries: Mining, Metallics, Lithium, Oil & Gas and Automation and Control.
- Advanced level of English; spoken and written.
- Medium to high proficiency on control, software power products.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to travel within the region on a regular basis.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Legal authorization to work in Argentina, Chile or Peru.
