**Summary**

The Expeditor, in close cooperation with the engineering and other procurement teams, is essential for the delivery of project material/equipment according to schedule. Ensures that all materials/equipment are released for delivery and delivered to logistics for delivery or delivered to the workplace by the supplier in accordance with the provisions of the purchase order. It possesses coordination skills with a familiarity with manufacturing processes and engineering and material supply in the project and construction environment. Well-developed planning skills and strong interpersonal skills are required to ensure potential problems are anticipated, delivery delays are avoided, and corrective actions are proactively implemented to ensure that risks regarding schedule and cost are effectively mitigated.

**Key responsibilities**
- Streamline all project equipment/materials according to the expediting plan.
- Ensure that the data for the report is complete and accurate.
- Coordination of information related to packing lists and delivery documentation, including any documentation required for export purposes.
- Ensure that all relevant release documentation is issued in accordance with the Project Implementation Plan (PEP).
- Interact with client and project members regarding acceleration issues.
- Coordination and communication with supplier and internal disciplines using iPas MP or other forms of reporting to maintain project schedules and avoid delays.
- Monitor suppliers' engineering and manufacturing schedules to ensure schedule is maintained and proactively manage any potential delays.
- Coordinate with QC to ensure scheduled inspections are conducted on time and NCRs, when they occur, are handled efficiently to avoid schedule delays.
- Deliver to logistics to facilitate delivery according to the pending purchase order of the Incoterms conditions specified in the purchase order.

**Qualifications and Essential Experience**
- High degree of technical proficiency and familiarity with various materials, manufacturing processes and supply items.
- Ability to confirm that delivery dates for materials and supply items meet all requirements.
- Prior knowledge of the preservation and packaging procedures to ensure that the materials or items transported are free from damage and to ensure that the materials or items to be shipped are marked, packed and preserved in accordance with all requirements.
- Knowledge of ISO 9000 and ISO 19011.
- Multidisciplinary knowledge/awareness.
- Know and comply with all regulations and legislative requirements.
- Proven track record in a similar position, ideally in mining projects.
- Excellent understanding of project execution, especially materials management and scheduling.
- Advanced level of written and oral English (mandatory).
