Our client is a group from European capitals whose main activity is in the fields of generation and distribution of electricity, natural gas, oil, and renewable energy. With more than 200,000 employees, it is one of the largest utility companies in the world. One of their branches performs Consultancy and applied Research and Innovation (R&I) projects on the whole electricity value-chain, including the fields of power generation, transmission, distribution, storage, and end-use, with a focus on energy transition and the 3 Ds: decarbonization, decentralization, and digitalization. As part of their consulting and R&D activities, the company is looking for talented **Project Manager**to support the execution of Service and R&D projects focused on ensuring an efficient energy transition in America that considers a strong penetration of renewables and flexibilization of existing thermal assets.

Some responsibilities include:

- Technical support for the evaluation of the condition of thermal generation assets Like turbines, boilers and auxiliary working under cycling conditions.
- Site inspections to assess the current condition of the asset under investigation and identify different damage mechanics.
- Data analysis to identify deviations from the normal or recommended operation conditions of the asset.
- Risk assessment to identify the main failure mechanism that may affect the units and define countermeasures to reduce control the level of risk.
- Installation of different condition monitoring systems to measure and evaluate in real time the behaviour of different operation parameters.
- Technical support to improve the performance of thermal power plants.
- Elaboration of different KPIs to identify the Performance of individual turbines or boilers.
- Use of specialized software to simulate different conditions of operation and the behaviour of the analysed unit.
- Technical support for different investigations performed on thermal assets.
