As CTO, you will be steering the technological helm of a company that's redefining how people move. Your role will be pivotal in shaping our technology strategy, overseeing its execution, and ensuring it aligns seamlessly with our business objectives.

**What to Expect**:

- **First Month**: Dive into our current operations and tech stack, establish key relationships, and begin formulating strategic tech initiatives.
- **First 3 Months**: Take the reins on major technology projects, ensuring alignment with our overall business strategy and user experience goals.
- **First 6 Months**: Achieve milestones in tech innovation and platform unification, setting the stage for future expansions and enhancements. Adjust the team dynamics and workflows to optimize the operation.

**Your Role & Responsibilities**:

- **Develop a cohesive technology strategy** that aligns with our vision of becoming the leading multi-country mobile platform. You will ensure our technological efforts are in sync with broader business objectives.
- **Maintain operational continuity. **You will make sure that the operational platforms are always up & running, establishing contingency/failure plans and protocols in place.
- **Nurture and lead our tech team of 30+ skilled professionals**. You will cultivate a culture of innovation and continuous improvement, encouraging the team to achieve and exceed their potential.
- **Collaborate effectively with product teams and external partners** to drive technology solutions that enhance user engagement and operational agility, making our services more competitive and user-friendly.
- **Manage and optimize vendor relations** and third-party integrations, ensuring that our technology stack supports robust and scalable solutions.
- **Oversee project management** for innovations that extend beyond our core platform, ensuring seamless implementation and integration.
- **Provide hands-on technical leadership when needed**. You possess a deep understanding of systems down to the code level and can guide your team through complex problem-solving, finding innovative solutions to significant challenges.

**Who We Are Looking For**:

- A visionary leader with a robust background in technology.
- A strategist and communicator capable of inspiring teams and articulating technological visions to non-technical stakeholders
- Proficiency in a range of programming languages and a deep understanding of software architecture principles; strong ability to contribute to technical discussions, code reviews, etc.
- Language fluency in Spanish or Portuguese and proficiency in English to coordinate with international teams and stakeholders
- Minimum of 7 years in technology leadership roles, with at least 5 years in strategic leadership positions.
- Proven track record of implementing innovative technology solutions and leading technology teams in a dynamic environment
