Senior Marketing Systems Analyst

The Senior Marketing Systems Analyst will lead business and systems analysis projects supporting all of Robert Half’s marketing analytics technology platforms, including but not limited to tag management systems, digital analytics platforms, documentation tools, and automated reporting solutions. This role will be responsible for business requirements gathering and analysis, specific to measurement and analytics. Partnering with marketing stakeholders, the Systems Analyst will translate their measurement needs to create detailed business requirements for IT as well as for our front end implementation team.

Specific Responsibilities include:

- Partner with Marketing, IT, Senior Leadership, and Business Technology to gather requirements and then translate requirements into thorough and detailed business requirement documents that can be presented to all levels of management, customers, development teams and vendors.
Liaison between IT departments and Marketing to ensure effective delivery of projects and system changes. Additionally, review and approve technical design or system docs on behalf of business
- Identify areas of needed improvement/gaps, or opportunities to increase productivity, increase revenue, reduce cost, increase leads, etc.
- Consider the impact to current and future business environments, marketing systems and processes. Assessing upstream & downstream effect of any potential changes and presenting analysis/recommendations to management
- Documentation of current marketing systems designs, data dictionaries and catalogs, business processes and operations
- Analyze current and future marketing analytics technologies as well as assess the impacts of any proposed systems
- Documents existing operations and practices for the Global Marketing Analytics organization

**Requirements**:

- 4+ years’ experience as a Business Systems Analyst, Systems Analyst, Technical Analyst or a related discipline
- 3+ years’ experience working with web or analytics technologies
- 3+ years' business experience, with demonstrated leadership, project management, or managerial skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead documentation efforts with mínimal supervision and hold others accountable for deliverables
- Demonstrated knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies: Waterfall, iterative, Agile.
- Working knowledge of HTML, SQL, CSS, and JavaScript
- Understanding of technical aspects of website and app measurement
- Extensive experience configuring, maintaining, analyzing, and documenting Marketing Analytics platforms and tools - Specific experience with Tealium, Google Analytics, Domo, Firebase, Invoca all highly preferred
- Ability to develop detailed technical documents and data diagrams
- Project Management and Collaboration Software Visio, Confluence, Workfront all preferred
- Experience with Customer Data Platforms (preferred)
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills, and the ability to present technical information to others with clarity and ease
- Excellent organizational, analytical and time management skills.
- Extremely detail oriented with a focus on quality
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities
