Senior Accountant

**The Role**:
As a Senior Accountant, you will produce monthly financial reports, maintenance of an adequate system of accounting records, developing controls and procedures, enhance the accuracy of the company's reported financial results, and ensure that reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles, assistance in budgeting, forecasting, tax and audit processes.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
**Transactions**
- Perform month-end and year-end closing process
- Maintain an orderly accounting filing system
- Implement and monitor system of controls over accounting transactions
- Prepare and review monthly reconciliations of significant general ledger accounts
- Process and review monthly bank reconciliations
- Maintain the chart of accounts
- Identify opportunities to enhance financial processes, reporting methodologies and data accuracy
- Develop and improve manual processes, automating processes where required
- Verify the quality of the financial-accounting information in order to record and control the economic facts under IFRS standards.
- Prepare reports and accounting closings (monthly, semi-annual and annual).
- Participate and actively attend requirements related to internal and external auditing processes.
- Review and act in terms of regulatory compliance with IFRS standards.
- Prepare reporting and reports for the parent company.
- Knowledge in Fixed Assets.
- Elaborate and maintain account analysis.
- Supervise and analyze balance sheets of the companies.
- Supervise fiscal issues (VAT and CORPORATE TAX).

**QUALIFICATIONS**:
We are looking for a profile with the following requirements and competencies:

- Accountant Auditor, Commercial Engineering or Administration.
- Knowledge of financial statements, IFRS regulations, monthly and annual taxes.
- 5 to 10 years of experience in the indicated tasks in multinational companies, closing financial statements with reports.
- Intermediate and/or advanced Excel skills.
- Experience working in accounting for international companies.
- Advanced written and oral English
