**Your future role on our team**

As it continues to grow, BBA is seeking an engineering manager who must be familiar with a consulting engineering environment and help meet the needs of a growing number of clients.
We’re looking for someone able to work in our office in Santiago, to manage our local multidisciplinary engineering teams and interact with the various stakeholders.

- Assess our various engineering teams and prepare the growth strategy for the office’s technical requirements
- Build efficient teams by actively engaging in the recruitment process in collaboration with our talent acquisition teams in Canada as well as our local discipline leaders
- Exercise influential leadership on your multidisciplinary teams to ensure awarded mandates are executed successfully
- Plan, lead and control project execution in accordance with BBA’s mandate and to the satisfaction of the client, the organization, team members and other stakeholders
- Manage stakeholder expectations, create genuine and strong relationships with our internal and external clients
- Proactively manage and resolve technical, financial, time and human resource issues in a timely manner to limit potential deviations
- Manage project risks in collaboration with various work groups and disciplines and implement means to eliminate or mitigate them
- Have the health and safety policy applied in our day-to-day practices
- Ensure the quality of professional services rendered, in compliance with practices associated with the quality management system, to preserve BBA’s professional image
- Significantly participate in the firm’s business development and produce proposals
- Integrate available resources into projects to maximize BBA’s skills development (multi-level experienced team), provide coaching, guidance and engage your project team
- Select the appropriate personnel to form project teams, to ensure proper technical delivery, good risk management and having balanced project teams, in cooperation with all local and when required, international discipline or team leaders

**Summary of certifications and job requirements**
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering
- At least 20 years of relevant experience
- 5 years of experience in an engineering consulting company
- 5 years of experience managing people
- Excellent spoken and written communication (English and Spanish)
- Experience managing preliminary project studies (Audits, Conceptual, PFS, FS)
- Experience managing medium to large EPCM projects in the mining or heavy industry sectors
- Experience managing multidisciplinary engineering teams and project control, procurement and construction management teams
- A good knowledge of data management and planification tools, such as Power BI or equivalent
- Efficient time management and decision-making skills
- Ability to maintain collaborative relationships with personnel, clients and suppliers
- Strong negotiation skills Advanced knowledge of the MS Office Suite
