**Key Responsibilities**:

- Design and implement scalable, maintainable back-end systems using **Ruby on Rails**.
- Collaborate with database teams to design efficient schemas using **PostgreSQL**.
- Ensure the back-end systems are optimized for performance, scalability, and security.
- Troubleshoot and resolve server-side issues, ensuring mínimal downtime and excellent user experience.
- Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging back-end development trends and technologies.

**Required Qualifications**:

- 5+ years of experience in back-end development with **Ruby on Rails**.
- Proficiency in designing and developing RESTful APIs.
- Strong understanding of database design and management with **PostgreSQL**.
- Familiarity with **Node.js** for back-end or API development.
- Knowledge of **JavaScript** and **TypeScript** for cross-team collaboration.
- Experience with cloud platforms, particularly **AWS**.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience with additional frameworks or technologies such as **MongoDB** or **Python**.
- Familiarity with mobile development frameworks, particularly **React Native**.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools for CI/CD pipelines.
- Understanding of microservices architecture.
