**Important responsibilities in this role will include**:

- Have hands-on experience in structuring/trading/index operations.
- Possess good knowledge in implementing and back-testing complex strategies in VBA and Python
- Be familiar with equity, foreign exchange, commodities, interest rates, and futures and options trading.
- Have experience in running sanity checks and reporting daily maintenance of the indices.
- Be responsible for periodic rolls and rebalancing and carrying out other lifecycle events.
- Design and implement new checks and controls as per client requirements.
- Have strong functional knowledge of financial and quantitative concepts.
- Collaborate and provide ideas on the implementation of controls and design frameworks.
- Manage sub-projects and timelines.
- Respond to ad-hoc client requests.

**Skills we’re looking for**:

- Professional degree in Engineering (e.g.: Industrial, Computer, Commercial) with programming skills with
- 2+ year of experience on the field.
- Hands-on experience in index development and maintenance
- In-depth knowledge of quantitative investment strategies
- Excellent quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Comprehensive understanding of Python, VBA
- Commodities, Futures, Indices and back testing of different strategies.
- Keen interest in quantitative finance and fundamental factors affecting the valuation of various asset classes in the global economy.
- Good knowledge of market data providers such as Bloomberg and Reuters
- Ability to manage / collaborate with team members remotely.
- Ability to interact with international clients.
- Ability to identify and solve issues effectively on time.
- Attention to detail.
