**What we're looking for**

The Quality Assurance Engineer I has the desire to learn and gain experience with new technologies and processes, and has some experience in creating test plans and defining QA strategy. The QA Engineer thinks outside the box and helps define and execute team QA and deployment processes.

**What you'll do**
- Creates and executes test cases and reports bugs back to the team.
- Takes part in hands-on functional / regression / exploratory testing.
- Suggests quality and process improvements at the team level.
- Deploys and merges PRs following Vacasa's release and code management practices.
- Actively participates in agile processes and ceremonies.
- Writes or uses basic SQL queries.
- Updates documentation.

**Skills you'll need**
- Minimum one year of professional experience.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with attention to detail.
- Experience creating and executing test plans.
- Familiarity with testing methodologies
- Experience with version control systems like git and CI/CD deployment processes.
- A degree in Computer Science or related field is a nice-to-have, but not required.
