We're looking for an experienced Analytics leader to develop and grow the newly formed Revenue Analytics team. This team supports our global sales, channel, and CS organizations by providing rich insights on the health of the business and also creating dashboards & scorecards that allow users to self-serve their own analysis. This is an opportunity to build a new team from the ground up within the context of a public company. This is a high visibility role and you can expect direct exposure to senior leaders across the company and across a diverse set of functions - revenue, finance, business operations, marketing, etc. **What you will do**: - Create the vision of the revenue analytics team and galvanize the organization around your vision. - Own the Revenue analytics roadmap and ensure that all executive stakeholders are aligned to the priorities you've set - Unlock a culture of data-informed decision making by socializing the insights your team deliver and incorporating them into the rhythm of the business - Hire, develop, and retain the team through tailored coaching for both technical and personal development areas - Help create reliable metrics, dashboards, and scorecards that scale with the growth of the organization - Make data accessible to more stakeholders through structuring highly scalable data infrastructure that allows for self-serving data and analysis **About You**: - **Intellectually curious** - You're always looking for ways to grow and stretch beyond your comfort zone. You take initiative to find clarity where there is ambiguity to unlock your team's work and to drive business impact. - 5-8+ years of experience in data analytics or data science - 2+ years of direct management experience, hiring, developing, and retaining top talent - Required: Advanced SQL & BI tool (we use Tableau) experience, proficiency in data modeling, understanding of the modern tech stack (Snowflake, data transformations, ELT/ETL) - Previous experience and familiarity with Salesforce data models (accounts, opportunities, leads, etc) and analytics associated with driving sales & customer success performance (KPIs like ARR, Close Rate, Cycle Times, Propensity Scores, etc) - Proven history of translating business objectives and requirements into technical projects and/or rich analysis. - Strong ability to communicate the "so what" behind the data and to use data to create organizational clarity and alignment. **Nice to Have**: - Fluency with statistics techniques to structure analyses and provide insights (e.g. statistical tests, AB testing) - Strong proficiency in specifically using Tableau for dashboards and visualizations - A college degree in Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, or other technical fields **About us** Asana helps teams orchestrate their work, from small projects to strategic initiatives.
