**Solarwinds Consultant - (Full-time Contract, Remote)**:

**Work hours**: MST 7:30 - 15:30 - Remote

**️ What You’ll Be Doing**:

- Implementing, configuring, and optimizing SolarWinds monitoring solutions across diverse IT environments (on-premise, hybrid, and cloud) to ensure seamless visibility and system performance.
- Designing scalable monitoring strategies using tools like NPM, SAM, NTA, and the Orion Platform to provide proactive alerting and infrastructure insights.
- Creating custom dashboards, reports, and alert configurations tailored to specific client requirements and SLAs.
- Integrating SolarWinds with third-party tools such as ServiceNow, Splunk, and PagerDuty via APIs and scripting (PowerShell, Python).
- Collaborating closely with IT, DevOps, and Security teams to ensure full-stack monitoring coverage.

**What You Need to Succeed**:
**Must-haves**:

- 4-5 years of hands-on experience implementing and maintaining SolarWinds monitoring environments.
- Deep knowledge of SolarWinds Orion Platform modules: NPM, SAM, NTA, IPAM, and Alerting Engine.
- Proficiency with monitoring protocols: SNMP, WMI, NetFlow, Syslog.
- Strong scripting and automation skills using PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
- Comfortable working with Windows Server and Linux, including remote diagnostics and performance tuning.
- Familiarity with SQL Server and building queries for custom reporting.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to translate technical details for non-technical stakeholders.

**Nice-to-haves**:

- Experience integrating monitoring solutions with ITSM platforms and observability pipelines.
- Prior consulting or client-facing experience in enterprise IT environments.
- Knowledge of performance baselining and capacity planning strategies.
- Exposure to automation frameworks or CI/CD integrations within observability stacks.
