**What We're Looking For**
**What You'll Do**
- Develop and implement a comprehensive digital transformation strategy for the accounting department, in alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and automation within accounting workflows, including but not limited to, revenue recognition, trust accounting, accounts payable/receivable, financial reporting, and reconciliation processes.
- Lead the evaluation, selection, and implementation of accounting software, tools, and technologies to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and data integrity.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product & Technology, Data Platform, IT, Finance, and other departments to integrate accounting systems with existing infrastructure and ensure seamless data flow.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the finance team in adopting new technologies and best practices, including training and ongoing support.
- Monitor and assess the effectiveness of implemented solutions, regularly analyzing performance metrics and making adjustments as needed to drive continuous improvement.
- Stay abreast of emerging trends and developments in accounting technology and automation, proactively identifying opportunities to further enhance processes and systems.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, data security protocols, and internal controls in all digital transformation initiatives.
- Build and resign reports for finance and accounting using various data sources and reporting tools such as Alteryx, Tableau and/or Looker.
**The Skills You'll Need**
- Bachelor's degree in Business Intelligence, Analytics, System Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA certification preferred.
- Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in business intelligence, analytics, or accounting with a focus on digital transformation and process automation.
- Demonstrated experience leading digital transformation initiatives within finance or accounting functions.
- Strong technical proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems; familiarity with automation tools such as robotic process automation (RPA), artificial intelligence (AI) solutions and/or Alteryx.
- Proven ability to analyze complex business processes, identify inefficiencies, and develop solutions to streamline workflows.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
- Strategic thinker with a forward-thinking mindset, capable of anticipating future needs and trends in accounting technology.
