**What you’ll do**
- Work within a development team to assist in leading significant scope and drive complex projects to completion.
- Produce maintainable, scalable, and high-quality software solutions.
- Collaborate with the product team, architects, and others to document features and
changes.
- Participate in peer design and code reviews.
- Elevate the performance of colleagues through training, mentoring, and promoting Best
Practices.
- Experiment with technologies and propose solutions to colleagues including architects
and the IT leadership team.
- Incorporate monitoring, logging, and tracing with DataDog and Snowflake.
- Mentor other engineers, having a voice in defining our challenging technical culture, and helping to build a fast-growing team (depending on level).

**What experience you need***
- BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience working within a development team to lead significant scope and drive complex projects to completion.
- 5+ years of strong software engineering and software architecture background in languages such as Go (preferred), C/C++/C#, Java, Python or Rust.
- 5+ years of Experience building RESTful APIs and/or gRPC within a distributed microservice architecture.
- 3+ years experience implementing Amazon Web Services like IAM, EKS, DynamoDB, or Elasticsearch.
- Proficient on relational databases
- Experience with DEVOPS patterns and tooling (gitlab, Datadog)
- Excellent communication skills and desire to work in a collaborative team environment.

**What could set you apart**
- UI development (e.g. HTML, JavaScript, Angular 11+ and Bootstrap).
- Experience with graphs, and NoSQL databases.
- AWS Certification(s).
- Experience with OWASP and PCI Data Security.
- Experience with Amazon Web Services such as: ElastiCache for Redis, Lambda, DynamoDB, or Elasticsearch.
