**About Our Process**

About the Role
- Responsible for representing the global Innovation & Value Engineering Technology team in the Minerals America region, ensuring that the technology needs of key functional partners in Innovation & Value Engineering are appropriately supported.
- Serves as a key liaison between Innovation & Value Engineering and the broader Technology function, facilitating the connection, alignment and support required to deliver transformational projects from their functional portfolios.

**Core Responsibilities**:

- Engage, champion and mentor a globally diverse team of in-house and outsourced professionals by establishing a strong team of teams and delivery culture rooted in BHP’s charter values.
- Develop the strategic vision for Innovation and Value Engineering Technology products and projects in Minerals America, ensuring alignment with business and Technology Platform requirements.
- Create and maintain the regional technology roadmap from strategy, annual and quarterly planning including budget and resourcing, ensuring deliverables and dependencies with other functions and assets are in sync and visible
- Cultivate close relationships with key stakeholders to confirm alignment and support from Asset Technology
- Identify, build, and manage strategic partnerships with customers, contract agencies & vendors
- Support the management of vendor/supplier selection, contracts, and performance to maximise operational and financial outcomes and mitigate BHP's exposure to risk
- Develop and deliver against measurable performance targets and KPIs aligned with organisational goals and monitor operational results against benchmarks, adjusting strategies accordingly.
- Define and document project objectives and requirements across a variety of physical and digital solutions to ensure business objectives are achieved
- Work with the key stakeholders to develop status reports and provide updates at the product status update meetings and Steer Co sessions
- Work with the Technical Leads, Developers, Architects and DevOps teams, managing product operations, including the transition to operations (TTO) process.

About You

**To be a top performer you will need**:

- Experience in defining and implementing product strategies and roadmaps across both physical and digital technologies
- Bachelor’s degree; Business, IT, Computer Science, Engineering
- Fluent in Spanish and English
- Proven ability to manage relationships with across multiple organisational levels and diverse internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong analytical skills and experience in performance monitoring and management.
- Proficiency in product lifecycle management.
- Foundational technical knowledge of typical technology development.
