**Main Responsibilities**:
Reporting to the QA Lead, the QA Automation Engineer is responsible for:

- Developing, implementing, and maintaining QA automation framework, test suites, and test cases for all services of the Digital platforms integrated into existing Azure CI/CD pipelines.
- In addition to functional testing of user interfaces and APIs, we expect the QA Automation Engineer to contribute to load and performance testing of our data driven platform. You should have prior programming and scripting experience in a cloud-based environment, a keen eye for detail, and excellent organizational and time management skills.

**What you’ll do**:

- Work closely with the different Digital teams to gather both technical and business requirements and identify opportunities for test automation while designing the testing framework.
- Work as a member of the Digital scrum team in planning, estimating, and verifying user stories and acceptance criteria
- Perform back-end data validation from ETL testing to E2E validation using Databricks notebook
- Research and study new and evolving technologies, standards and processes within the QA and test automation industries
- Identify toolsets and environment needs including any recommendations as needed
- Assist in troubleshooting and performing root cause analysis on production issues
- Participate in product and infrastructure discovery, design and review sessions
- Collaborate with business units to provide better understanding on how automation can help improve workflow and increase process efficiency

**Experience & Skills**:

- Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or a related principle is a must
- ISTQB, CSTE or equivalent certification(s) is desirable
- 3+ years of experience writing and executing manual and test automation scripts to evaluate the functionality and performance of user interfaces and APIs
- 2+ years of experience in Python and PySpark
- Working knowledge and experience with automated software and performance testing tools such as JMeter, BlazeMeter, LoadNinja, Rational Performance Tester and/or HP LoadRunner
- Working knowledge of REST API testing tools, such as Postman and SoapUI as well as designing and building API and Data driven testing frameworks
- Working experience validating data and writing data focused tests
- Practical experience with Azure and Azure DevOps is a definite advantage
- Knowledge of load and performance testing processes and frameworks
- Self-motivated, independent thinker with excellent communication skills
- Ability to communicate in Spanish is an advantage
