Our client is s software development company with presence in New York, USA and Santiago, Chile. They are currently seeking a **Web Engineer**to join their Chilean team.

Mission:
The company has been able to craft a best-in-class app for iOS and Mac, and now want to bring that app to the web with the same level of user experience. To achieve this, they are looking for a Web Engineer to join them in the development of our new platform, and contribute to the building of an all-star Web team, of which you would be the third member.

**Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate closely with the Product and Design teams to define and implement new features and constantly improve the ones we already have.
- Maintain and improve the quality and performance of the web app.
- Implement unit and UI tests for new features to maintain and improve reliability.

Required Qualifications:

- 3+ years of experience working on Web apps on the frontend side.
- Experience with TypeScript and React.
- Knowledge of React frameworks and built tools.
- Strong understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
- Experience with asynchronous request handling.
- An eye for good design and attention to detail.
- Team player who can manage time independently.
- English proficiency; all of the meetings and internal communications are in English.
- Based in Santiago, Chile.

Desired Qualifications:

- Bachelor in Computer Science or equivalent.
- Knowledge of performance and scalability techniques.
- Knowledge of web accessibility standards and best practices.
- Experience with: Progress Web Apps, Google Cloud / Firebase / Firestore, Mobile apps, CI / CD systems.
