We are looking for a new Sr. Associate, Data Science to join our team in Brazil or Chile, to work in advanced analytics projects for our clients, in our factory team and/or in our own R&D team. The core task of the role is to come up with data-driven answers to business-oriented questions through critical thinking, creativity and intuition, strongly relying on scientific foundations. The role has to team up closely with ML Engineers, Impact Leaders, Consultants and Team Leaders to boost, deepen and streamline the development of innovative solutions that respond to high complexity problems. What we expect from you? - Strong theoretical background on machine learning, ideally practical experience on building and deploying machine learning models. - Being able to develop different types of models, specific feature engineering and tuning. What types of models? Classification, regression, clustering, time series, optimization, among others. It would be a plus if you also understand recommendation systems and Bayesian inference. - Write code in Python, embracing good code practices. - You don’t have problems learning new frameworks or trying new techniques. - Be comfortable with probabilistic and statistical concepts. - Add creativity and intuition to come up with innovative solutions. - Not being afraid of trying new things. - You deal with frustration when things don’t go as you expected. - You support your ideas with simple and clear arguments, balancing risks. - You have a vision on how a model/system may provide impact in favor of a clear objective. - Constant collaboration with your teammates. - Provide and accept frequent feedback. - Be autonomous within a collaborative environment. - Find the best and unique version of yourself and boost it - You have 2 or more years of experience and/or a relevant graduate degree.
