We are looking to incorporate **Solution Architect** to bring Innovation to Softline’s interface. You’ll be a part of our Chile Team. Responsible for driving sales growth specifically for the Vendor (Cisco,Dell,VmWare) product line within value added technical solutions. Primarily working with Softline and Vendor sales teams and technical groups, facilitate sales using complex technical expertise to deliver the best solution for the customer while maintaining profitability when creating solutions. **Key Areas of Responsibility** - Develop and manage a territory sales strategy (geography and/or market segment) to meet or exceed bookings targets and increase average order sales - Sell solutions and products to customers together with AM or independently - Provide weekly/monthly/quarterly sales forecasting and visibility activity by keeping a current pipeline using forecasting tools - Collaboratively work with Softline Account Managers, BDM as well as Vendor Channel Managers and sellers in a given geography to facilitate closure of the opportunities. - Interactions with customer to prepare technical specifications, receive discounts, make proposal to customer and close deals (together with BDM and PS) - Help BDM in proposals preparing - Effectively distinguish Vendor offerings from competitors, offer Vendor product configuration / pricing / program assistance, and present a well-prepared compelling case to the customer for purchase of Vendor solutions - Increase hardware/software sales on selected vendors on assigned territories **Responsibilities** - Attain monthly, quarterly and annual sales and profitability quota - Provide technical expertise to identify complex deals in hyperconvergence market - Assisting to PS and sales team with senior level management CXO levels and understand their needs, proposing added value solutions - Conduct high level and technical conversations and training presentations with customers and account managers - To be able to detect service opportunities and offer SL professional services proactively - Consistently build and deliver on account and opportunity pipeline - Developing a thorough understanding of the solution portfolio - Defining and articulating a strategy and solution by customer or vertical - Architecting solutions using the full Vendor product stack **Qualifications** - High School Diploma - Three year minimum experience with strategic account planning and consultative sales - Communication skills in English and Spanish, both written and verbal, additional languages an advantage - Quick learner and be able to comprehend interdependency of multiple programs/processes - Outstanding verbal, written, and presentation skills in executive and informal settings required - Motivated seller with strong problem solving skills - Must be knowledgeable in the IT industry - Able to communicate technical concepts and business solutions - Ability to identify root cause of an issue/inquiry and offer solutions - Ability to craft comprehensive database solutions and to articulate business benefits of those solutions - Experience in a collaborative environment - Strong team player but willing to speak up and share ideas - Self-motivated in a cross-functional, fast-paced and dynamic environment **Preferred Qualifications**: - Successful completion of a recognized formal sales training program(s) - Current Dell, Cisco, VmWare certification (Sales or technical Associate level) - Knowledge of Cisco, Dell, VmWare, Veeam product portfolio - VCP/VCAP certification is desirable ( Vmware Certified Professional)
