DevOps Engineer

Our client is a multinational IT consulting company, with presence in more than 45 countries across five continents. They are currently seeking a **DevOps Engineer** to join their team.

Mission:
Main responsibilities/functions:

- C++ Development:

- Write, optimize, and maintain performant C++ code to support financial analytics and trading systems.
- Collaborate with quantitative developers to build excel based analytics for front office desk integrating C++ pricing interface.
- Refactor and rewrite existing analytical code to enhance modularity, scalability, and performance.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable and reliable financial systems.
- Understanding of Relation and non-relation databases.
- DevOps Engineering:

- Strong Knowledge of GitHub Actions and Jenkins pipeline code and libraries.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for multi-architecture builds
- Scripting knowledge in Shell, Perl, or Python.
- Experience with SDLC tools such as Jira, Bitbucket, Git, etc.
- Familiarity with configuration management tools like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
- Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using Terraform.

**Requirements**:

- Graduate/Post-graduate in Computer Science/Engineering degree.
- 3-6 years of experience in writing performant C++ code.
- Experience in build tools (CMake, Make).
- Experience in the financial/banking domain with quantitative modeling is a plus.
- Familiarity with SQL and advance proficiency in Excel
- Add-Ins, automation, Macros etc.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for multi-architecture builds.
- Strong Knowledge of GitHub Actions for automated build and release management.
- Scripting knowledge in Shell, Perl, or Python.
- Experience with SDLC tools such as Jira, Bitbucket, Git, etc.
- Familiarity with configuration management tools like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and management on AWS and Azure using Terraform.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills to explain complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Good verbal and written English communication skills.
