The role includes close coordination with international organizations, federal/state health institutions, national orthopaedic/rehabilitation hospitals, universities, Private clinics, and NGOs. In early phases, you will help localize product and process specifications to Chilean patient needs (including elements of R&D).
Short international travel (e.g., for training/exchanges in India) may be required.
Key Responsibilities
A. Training & Technical Support for Partner Sites
Deliver structured training on digital P&O workflows (3D scanning CAD design 3D printing assembly fitting follow-up).
Use standard training manuals; conduct skills assessments and refresher sessions.
Provide ongoing troubleshooting and mentorship (in person and remote).

Guide safe clinical practice and ensure quality/traceability in the digital workflow.
Gather and analyze patient-reported outcomes and feedback.
D. Product & Process Localization
Propose adjustments to device specifications based on local anthropometrics, climate, activity levels, and component availability.
Conduct local materials/process improvement studies with the global R&D team.
Prototype and evaluate localized configurations with clear documentation.
E. Documentation & Reporting
Maintain detailed training logs, clinical supervision notes, non-conformance reports, and corrective actions.
Consolidate manufacturing documentation from partner sites.
Prepare briefings/reports in English for internal/external stakeholders.
F. Other Duties
Provide flexible support to ensure smooth project delivery and success, including logistics, trip arrangement, research activities, etc.
Provide basic interpretation and translation support when needed
Perform other tasks assigned by the supervisors
4. Technical and Clinical Duties
As part of training/supervision—and where appropriate, direct patient work—you may perform:
Clinical Tasks
Patient assessment and P&O prescription support.
Anthropometric measurements; 3D scanning of residual limbs/body segments.
3D CAD-based design of sockets/orthoses; alignment and trial fittings.
Post-fitting gait/mobility evaluation and iterative adjustments.
Patient education on use, care, and maintenance; home/community visits as needed.
Documentation of patient data, components, and adjustment history.
Fabrication Tasks
Interpret digital design specs; prepare tools/materials.
Process printer files; operate and calibrate 3D printers; manage consumables.
Perform routine maintenance and basic repairs; adhere to safety/ESD practices.
