Tu papel será fundamental para mantener la estabilidad de nuestras plataformas, identificar posibles problemas antes de que surjan y colaborar estrechamente con los equipos de desarrollo para implementar soluciones efectivas.

We are seeking experienced Site Reliability Engineers (SREs) with backend development skills to join our SRE team as contractors. In this role, you will be instrumental in supporting and enhancing the reliability of modern cloud-native applications hosted on AWS.

You'll work closely with Product Owners and Engineering Teams to ensure the reliability, availability, and performance of critical systems and services through proactive monitoring and management.

• Ensure services meet defined Service Level Objectives (SLOs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Monitor uptime and performance metrics
• Respond to production incidents, perform root cause analysis, and drive postmortems
• Develop and maintain runbooks and escalation procedures.
• Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting systems
• Build internal tools to improve team productivity and system reliability.
• Work closely with development, product owners, and operations teams.

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent real-world experience
• 5+ years of hands-on SRE or backend development experience.
• Experience with AWS (EC2, ECS, Lambda, RDS, S3, etc.).
• Experience with Linux and Windows systems.
• Experience with scripting languages like Python, Java, or Shell scripting
• Familiarity with logging and tracing tools (e.g., ELK stack, OpenTelemetry, AWS CloudWatch).
• Ability to work closely with development teams, product owners, and DevOps.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Experience with:

• Experience with monitoring tools like Splunk, Dynatrace.
• Jira, Confluence and ServiceNow
• CI/CD Pipelines. Familiarity with Jenkins.
