Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Vice President of Development (Construction)/Vice President of Construction based in Santiago. The role involves overseeing construction projects from concept to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Responsibilities include managing teams, coordinating with stakeholders, ensuring compliance with local regulations, and optimizing processes to meet organizational goals. The candidate will lead strategies in construction development while maintaining alignment with company vision and delivering high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Expertise in construction project management, planning, and execution
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to oversee multidisciplinary teams and contractors
  • Knowledge of local construction regulations, standards, and permitting processes
  • Strategic thinking, problem-solving, and optimization skills to ensure efficiency in project delivery
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills for engaging with stakeholders and cross-functional teams
  • Experience in sustainable construction practices and implementing innovative solutions is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field (advanced degree preferred)
  • Proven track record of leading large-scale construction projects successfully
