Your mission:

As a PLC & SCADA Engineer, you will play a key role in the automation and monitoring of large-scale photovoltaic power plants across the Iberoamerican market. You'll develop and implement intelligent control systems and work at the intersection of software, hardware, and renewable energy.

Your key responsibilities:Develop and maintain PLC programs using Structured Text (ST), primarily on the Codesys platform (WAGO PLCs)Design and implement HMI interfaces and control logicConfigure hardware components including I/O modules and communication interfacesTest and debug PLC programs and automation systemsPerform remote and on-site commissioning of monitoring and control systems for utility-scale PV plants, primarily in the Iberian regionCollaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement automation solutionsCreate and maintain documentation such as schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals

Your profile:

Degree in Engineering or a technical background related to industrial or energy automationProven experience in PLC programming and HMI/SCADA development (WAGO experience is a plus)Strong knowledge of Structured Text (ST)Familiarity with industrial protocols (e.g. Modbus, IEC101/102/104)Experience with RTUs, plant automation, power control, and SCADA functionalitiesKnowledge of VBA scriptingSolid understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, subnetting, routing/switching)Familiarity with cybersecurity principles and firewall configuration (e.g. FortiGate, Palo Alto)Ability to work both independently and as part of a teamStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsFluency in English and Spanish (spoken and written)Interested?
