This position offers the opportunity to directly impact employee safety and organizational success while working with cross-functional teams to implement comprehensive EHS programs. You'll serve as a key safety resource, collaborating with operations, engineering, and vendor partners to maintain the highest standards of environmental health and safety that meet JLL, client, and statutory requirements. This role combines strategic oversight with hands-on implementation, making you an essential contributor to JLL's commitment to creating safe, compliant work environments.Position Details:• Location: Santiago, ChileWork schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 6:00 pmWork model: On siteContract Type: Indefinite-termWhat your day-to-day will look like:Collaborate with Operations and Engineering Staff to review Job Hazard Analyses and provide construction/project EHS oversight while supporting contractor HASP reviewsConduct regular safety walks, facility inspections, and hazard assessments to identify risks and implement mitigation strategies across all operational areasManage vendor partnerships ensuring compliance with JLL requirements, including contractor qualification, performance monitoring, and coordination of high-risk activitiesDevelop and implement Standard Operating Procedures aligned with ISO standards, corporate policies, and local regulations while maintaining comprehensive safety documentationConduct EHS training programs including new employee orientations, job-specific safety training, and regulatory compliance education for all facility personnelSupport incident investigations with root cause analysis, develop corrective action plans, and maintain detailed documentation and reporting systemsMonitor EHS performance metrics, coordinate with regulatory agencies, and contribute to account-wide performance dashboards while ensuring proper maintenance of safety equipmentRequired Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Safety Management, Environmental Science, or related field with professional certificationMinimum 5 years of experience implementing and managing comprehensive EHS programs and management systems within facility operations or industrial environmentsExtensive experience with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certifications including audit preparation, compliance monitoring, and continuous improvement processesProven expertise in high-hazard prevention programs including Lockout/Tagout (LO/TO), electrical safety, confined space entry, and fall protection systemsDemonstrated success managing regulatory compliance with local and international environmental health and safety regulationsStrong experience working with subcontractors and vendors to achieve mutual safety objectives while maintaining operational efficiencyExcellent communication skills with ability to conduct training, facilitate meetings, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teamsPreferred Qualifications:Additional safety certifications such as CSP, CIH, or equivalent professional credentials in occupational health and safetyExperience with emergency preparedness planning, business continuity planning, and coordination with local emergency servicesKnowledge of permit systems, pre-work assessments, and specialized contractor coordination for high-risk activitiesFamiliarity with EHS performance dashboard development, data analysis, and metrics reporting for management presentationsExperience in safety culture development initiatives and participation in safety committee leadership rolesBackground in shipping/receiving operations and understanding of logistics safety requirementsProficiency with EHS management software platforms and digital documentation systemsLocation:On-site –Santiago,CHLIf this job description resonates with you, we encourage you to apply even if you don't meet all of the requirements.
