We are seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist for the Americas region to play a pivotal role in our financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure efficient, accurate, and timely invoicing for our client´s entities.
  • Prepare and review invoicing schedules, ensuring billing aligns with contracts.
  • Guarantee revenue billing completeness to meet key month-end deliverables.
  • Follow up on contract renewals and resolve invoicing queries promptly.
  • Liaise with other departments, such as operations, for contract and billing queries.
  • Prepare and review debtors aging reports and follow up on overdue invoices.
  • Update collection monitoring files and support payment applications.
  • Prepare monthly aging reports with commentary and weekly cash receipts forecasts.
  • Create customer IDs in MYOB, gather onboarding details, and update master data.
  • Support monthly financial close with accurate AR results and resolve any queries from the Financial Controller.
  • Participate in continuous performance improvement initiatives to support global growth.
  • Provide supporting documentation for audits and resolve audit queries.
  • Assist the Financial Controller with general ledger reconciliations and other ad hoc duties.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 4-5 years of experience in an Accounts Receivable position for a global company.
  • Experience in a paperless environment and with continuous process improvement initiatives.
  • Intermediate to advanced competency in MS Excel.
  • Prior experience using MYOB Advanced ERP or similar accounting tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new information, processes, and procedures.
  • Proven experience working in a company with various revenue and product streams.

  • Excellent time management skills for prioritizing and planning workloads to meet strict deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, seeking support and guidance when needed.
  • Strong teamwork and collaborative approach to problem-solving.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
