Site Surveyor / Setting Out Engineer
with
professional English proficiency

high-density residential, commercial, and urbanización projects
. This is a
full-time permanent role

You will perform
site surveys and setting out works
, ensuring that all construction activities are accurately aligned with design drawings, tender documents, and urbanización plans. Your work will be critical in supporting the design, construction, and quality assurance teams to deliver projects on time and to specification.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform
  setting out and site surveys
  in accordance with design drawings, urbanización plans, and specifications
• Record and process
  as-built and valuation surveys
  , ensuring accuracy and clarity in all data
• Interpret contract and tender drawings and provide
  detailed setting out information
  to operatives, subcontractors, and site teams
• Perform
  earthworks verification
  , including cut & fill control and
  volume calculations (cubicaciones)
• Capture, process, and transfer
  3D survey data
  for use by the design and CAD teams
• Maintain daily site records, monitor work progress, and assist in resolving technical and survey-related issues
• Collaborate with
  site management, foremen, quantity surveyors, subcontractors, and engineers
• Support the project team in
  maintaining quality standards
  and compliance with
  BCAR / ISO 9001 / EN 1090
• Ensure all site activities comply with
  health and safety regulations
  and site-specific protocols
• Track and report site survey expenses

Required Experience & Skills

• Degree or diploma
  in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Topography, or related field
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience
  in site surveying, setting out, and
  urbanización / obras civiles
  projects
• Experience in
  earthworks (movimientos de tierra), including cut & fill control and volume calculations (cubicaciones)
• Proficiency with
  Total Stations, GPS (Trimble, Topcon), Auto Levels, and laser scanning equipment
• Advanced AutoCAD skills
  , with
  strong proficiency in Civil 3D
  for earthworks, surfaces, and alignment modelling
• Familiarity with surveying software (e.g., Pix4D, ReCap) is desirable
• Drone / UAV surveying experience is a plus
• Ability to
  read, interpret, and produce technical drawings
• Experience in
  high-density residential and commercial developments
  preferred
• Ability to work across multiple projects and priorities, and support team collaboration
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and initiative
• Solid IT skills for internal systems and data management
• Valid Safe Pass
  and clean
  international driving licence
• English proficiency:
  professional working level (written and spoken) –
  mandatory for this role
