Vicuña is seeking a Senior Recruiter to attract and hire experienced, technical mining talent for our binational project in Argentina and Chile, as well as corporate roles.

This role owns full-cycle recruitment for specialized, hard-to-fill technical positions (project and operations), with occasional support on non-technical searches. Reporting to the Director, International HR & Talent, the Senior Recruiter partners closely with executives and hiring managers to deliver industry-leading talent.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end recruitment for technical and specialist roles.
  • Develop creative sourcing strategies beyond traditional channels.
  • Translate complex role requirements into high-quality candidate pipelines.
  • Deliver an exceptional candidate experience, driving strong conversion and offer acceptance rates.
  • Advise hiring managers and senior leaders on talent market dynamics, hiring risks, and recruitment strategy.
  • Proactively identify and escalate hiring challenges to support timely decision-making.
  • Manage and report recruitment pipeline performance and hiring progress.
  • Coordinate offers in partnership with HR, leadership, and hiring managers.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of recruiting processes and best practices.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 7+ years' full-cycle recruiting experience hiring niche, technical talent (mining, engineering, technology, or similarly complex environments).
  • Site based experience supporting operations or projects is an advantage.
  • Proven ability to understand and recruit for highly technical roles for mining projects and operations.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • High curiosity, learning agility, and problem-solving capability.
  • Valid passport and willingness to travel occasionally (typically no more than one trip per year).
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English is preferred.
