Fortune Media is seeking a highly motivated and talented Software Engineer, someone who is a fast learner and eager to explore new technologies, to join our team and play a crucial role in shaping the future of digital media. You will be a key contributor in building and maintaining the high-performance, scalable systems that power our renowned publications, and you'll have a direct impact on driving growth for our business. This role offers a unique opportunity to leverage your expertise in , backend technologies, and Content Management Systems (CMS) to impact millions of readers worldwide.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and Enhance: Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance software solutions using for our front-end applications, ensuring optimal performance, accessibility, and user experience.
- Backend Expertise: Build robust and scalable backend systems that integrate seamlessly with our CMS and various APIs, supporting the delivery of dynamic content and personalized experiences.
- CMS Integration: Work closely with our content teams to optimize CMS workflows, develop custom integrations, and ensure efficient content publishing across our platforms.
- Data-Driven Development: Leverage data analytics and A/B testing to optimize website performance and user experience. Drive data-informed decisions throughout the development lifecycle to ensure all improvements align with business goals and contribute to measurable outcomes.
- Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with designers, product managers, and other engineers to translate business requirements into innovative technical solutions.
- Performance Optimization: Continuously analyze and optimize our web applications for speed, scalability, and reliability, ensuring a seamless experience for our global audience.
- Innovation: Stay abreast of the latest technologies and trends in web development, particularly in the areas of , serverless architectures, and headless CMS solutions, embracing AI to remain at the forefront of innovation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience building high-performance web applications using or similar framework.
- Strong understanding of backend technologies and RESTful API design.
- Experience working with Content Management Systems is a plus.
- Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and modern web development frameworks.
- Experience with ads technology, DevOps, and automation tests.
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
