Mining And Metals
Increasing production of critical minerals provides key components of clean energy technologies, from wind turbines to batteries. Job Summary
In this role, you will participate in the design, development, and evaluation of electrical components and processes. You will collaborate and support other engineering disciplines for electrical engineering matters. Your professional work knowledge and abilities through the application of standard electrical engineering techniques and criteria will enable you to make impactful contributions to the team.

"This position is designated as part-time telework per our global telework policy and may require at least three days of in-person attendance per week at the assigned office or project. Weekly in-person schedules will be determined by the individual and their supervisor, in consultation with functional or project leadership".

Major Responsibilities

• Evaluating, selecting, and applying standard electrical engineering methods, techniques, procedures, and criteria, using independent judgment in making adaptations and modifications.
• Participating in the design, development, modification and evaluation of components and processes used in the generation, manipulation, transmission, and storage of electricity utilizing relevant Engineering Department Procedures (EDPs), design standards and guides, and Bechtel Standard Application Programs (BSAPs).
• Coordinating work and collaborating with other engineering disciplines.
• Providing technical assistance to other electrical personnel and will interact with project functions, the customer, and regulatory agency personnel in the resolution of complex regulatory issues and industry codes and standards.
• Aiding project and construction management in identifying and complying with project electrical requirements and in addressing issues as they arise during project execution.
• Preparing or assisting in preparation of conceptual studies, designs, reports, or proposals.

Education And Experience Requirements
Requires a bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 2-5 years of relevant experience; or 6-9 years of relevant work experience.

Required Knowledge And Skills

• Knowledge of systems, calculations, equipment, applications of methods, materials, and computer applications within the Electrical engineering discipline.
• Knowledge of engineering work planning and control methods and of precedents in the Electrical discipline and principles and practices of inter-related disciplines.
• Good knowledge of major industry or regulatory standards and particularly in Chilean Standard.
• Intermediate English level (desirable).
