What you'll do

  • Design, develop, and maintain both front-end and back-end components of web applications, delivering seamless user experiences and robust server-side functionality.
  • Translate wireframes and designs into clean, responsive, and efficient front-end code using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks like React, Angular, or
  • Build and maintain server-side logic, APIs, and database schema using languages such as , Python, Ruby, or PHP and relevant frameworks.
  • Develop and manage relational and NoSQL databases, ensuring data integrity, security, and optimized performance.
  • Implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms to protect application data and user privacy.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with designers, product managers, and other engineers to deliver complete software solutions.
  • Optimize application performance through caching, load balancing, and scalable architecture design.
  • Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and reliability; participate in debugging and troubleshooting.
  • Manage continuous integration and deployment pipelines (CI/CD) for automated testing and smooth releases.
  • Document APIs, system architecture, and codebase for future maintenance and scalability.

Who you are

  • Familiarity w/ React & FastAPI
  • Familiarity with database design and management for both SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) systems.
  • Experienced in creating APIs and integrating front-end with back-end components smoothly and securely.
  • Knowledgeable in secure coding practices, authentication protocols, and performance optimization.
  • Able to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams and communicate technical concepts clearly.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, committed to writing clean, maintainable code.
  • Comfortable leveraging AI coding assistants such as Copilot

Nice to haves

  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and container orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Understanding of compliance with security standards like GDPR, PCI-DSS.
  • Exposure to DevOps or infrastructure as code principles.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools
  • Familiarity with machine learning integration.
  • Prior startup or SaaS experience.
