About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Indirect Tax Manager to join our global tax team. As an Indirect Tax Manager, you will be responsible for providing indirect tax technical and e-invoicing support to the global tax department and regional finance teams, ensuring SKECHERS' compliance with indirect taxes in LATAM.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide indirect tax technical and e-invoicing support to the global tax department and regional finance teams.
- Ensure SKECHERS' compliance with indirect taxes in LATAM.
- Report directly to the Global Tax Program Manager and work closely with regional finance teams.
- Become the in-house subject matter expert in maintaining indirect tax compliance, minimizing tax liabilities, and reducing penalties and inaccuracies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance (with an emphasis on Tax/VAT) is required.
- Master's degree in Tax or Accounting (with emphasis on Tax/VAT) is a plus.
- A combination of 4 to 5 years of relevant experience in a Big 4 accounting firm and in-house experience at a large multinational corporation is required.
- CPA or JD must be required.
- Excellent interpersonal, presentation, verbal, and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with people at all levels.
