UST España & Latam is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Quality Assurance Automation Engineer to join our team.
We are looking for a talented professional who can develop scalable and reliable automated tests and frameworks for testing software solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing, experience with automation tools such as Pytest, Junit, Selenium, Gherkin, Cucumber, and knowledge of testing methodologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop automated tests and frameworks for testing software solutions.
- Analyze integration points, data flows, personas, authorization schemes, and environments to specify and automate test scenarios and test data.
- Develop regression suites, automation scenarios, and move automation to an agile continuous testing model.
- Proactively participate in all testing-related activities while establishing partnerships with key stakeholders in Product, Development/Engineering, and Technology Operations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM major or equivalent experience.
- 5-7 years of software testing experience.
- English conversational (B2) level.
- Able to create and review test automation according to specifications.
- Ability to write, debug, and troubleshoot code in Java, Python.
- Knowledge of testing tools Pytest, Junit, Selenium, Gherkin, Cucumber.
- Strong knowledge in QA best practices, testing techniques, and methodologies.
- Meaningful experience with different types of testing such as functional and non-functional.
- Experience and use of big data processing solutions using Dataflow/Apache Beam, Bigtable, BigQuery, PubSub, GCS, Composer/Airflow, and others with respect to software validation.
- Created test strategies and plans.
- Ownership in the release process of testing, monitoring testing certification (regression and smoke testing), creation of evidence, and generation of reports.
- Led complex testing efforts or projects.
- Participated in Sprint Planning as the Test Lead.
- Ability to give and maintain testing process metrics.
- Collaborated with Product Owners, SREs, Technical Architects to define testing strategies and plans.
- Experience with Jenkins CI/CD pipelines, versioning repositories with Github, and Terraform constructs.
