Catastrophe Risk Analysis Role OverviewThis position involves coordinating with other analysts on the team to develop and maintain in-house CAT modeling tools for inland CAT applications.
Primary responsibilities include providing catastrophe modeling support across projects, working with assigned client teams, and delivering real-time loss estimates of actual catastrophic events in Latin America.
You will also be required to build proficiency in using SQL and other programming languages, as well as further developing your understanding of reinsurance terminology.
A successful candidate will have a degree in Actuarial, Engineering, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field, along with advanced Excel, Access, and PowerPoint skills.
- Bilingual English/Spanish is required, while excellent interpersonal skills and prior experience collaborating with clients and senior partners are highly valued.
- The ability to handle multiple assignments, work independently, and meet deadlines is essential for this role.
