We are seeking a skilled Drupal Front-End Developer who is passionate about creating engaging and user-friendly web experiences. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SASS, JavaScript, and React, with the ability to design and implement responsive and interactive front-end interfaces.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain custom Drupal themes and templates using SASS, JavaScript, and React.
- Collaborate with designers and content creators to ensure seamless integration of visual designs into functional websites.
- Optimize website performance and ensure responsiveness across various devices and browsers.
- Implement interactive features and components using JavaScript and React.
- Work closely with back-end developers to integrate front-end interfaces with Drupal's content management system.
- Troubleshoot and resolve front-end issues, ensuring a smooth user experience.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Stay updated on the latest front-end technologies and Drupal best practices to continuously improve our web development processes.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Drupal Front-End Developer or Full-Stack Developer with a strong focus on front-end technologies.
- Expertise in SASS for styling, JavaScript for interactivity, and React for building dynamic components.
- Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive web design principles.
- Experience with Drupal theming, including the use of Twig templates.
- Familiarity with front-end build tools and workflows, such as Gulp, Webpack, or similar.
- Knowledge of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.
- Basic understanding of Drupal back-end development, including custom module development, is a bonus.
- Experience working with version control systems like Git.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with headless Drupal or decoupled architectures.
- Familiarity with accessibility standards and best practices.
- Knowledge of SEO best practices as they pertain to front-end development.
- Ability to work in an Agile/Scrum environment.
